Soy sauce powder is a kind of popular Asian-flavor seasoning, also called powdered soy sauce. It is a kind of solid soy sauce, which is made from ferment soy sauce, combined with carriers, flavor enhancers and other auxiliary materials, and processed by spray drying. It retains the characteristic flavor and the texture of soy sauce to the most extent, overrides the flavor of charring and oxidation of normal soy sauce, and is convenient for storage and transportation.

A: Limited by practical processing conditions, the rehydrated soy sauce powder is different to soy sauce more or less. AIPU FOOD has two types of soy sauce powder, SSP-006 and SSP-025, which can retain the specific flavor of soy sauce and the rehydration result of which is apparently better than the other types of soy sauce powder in the market.

 

A: Soy sauce powder is mainly used to enhance and blend flavor. Therefore the flavor characteristic is the key indicator. Due to the intrinsic protein within brewed soy sauce, soy sauce powder contains a certain amount of protein, but the protein content is not so high (normally 8% - 18%) because of the production cost. Sodium chloride is another key indicator of soy sauce powder which influences the taste and cost.

A: Flavor and taste are two significant indicators to estimate soy sauce powder. The soy sauce used in high-grade soy sauce powder requires long time of fermentation, while some simplified ingredients or processing would destroy the flavor and taste of soy sauce powder.
