* Caramel color for snack foods
Caramel color is an ideal colorant for cocoa products, chocolates, and sweets. It plays as a substitute for expensive cocoa powders, providing candies identical brownish appearance. All the three classes of caramel colors are permitted for application, according to China’s national food safety standard, GB 2760 Standard for Use of Food Additives.
Class I and Class III caramel colors may be applied to jelly and jelly powders.
Class I caramel color may be applied to puffed food at a dosage of max. 2.5 g/kg.
* Hydrolyzed vegetable protein for snack foods
A snack dusting may contain powdered HVP to suggest salty and roast flavor. Meanwhile, HVP contains kinds of amino acids and can serve as a nutrition enhancer. Applications include puffed foods, chips, nuts, and candied fruit.
* Soy sauce powder for snack foods
AIPU FOOD’s soy sauce powder serves to formulate the base of snack dusting. It enhances Asian-style flavor note in snack products. Applications include chips, puffed foods, and dried fruit.
* Disodium succinate for snack foods
According to China’s national food safety standard, GB 2760 Standard for Use of Food Additives, direct addition of disodium succinate is permitted only to seasonings. * Ethyl maltol for snack foods
Serving as a flavor enhancer, ethyl maltol works effectively in a variety of snack foods, such as confectionery, fruit products, nuts, and puffed foods, emphasizing their original flavor note.
